The Mauldin Cultural Center is managed under the Office of Cultural Affairs. Check out the team that makes this all possible!
Keira Heider, Cultural Affairs Manager
Keira manages the artistic and cultural endeavors of the City of Mauldin. Her main role is creating programming and events for the Mauldin Cultural Center and Outdoor Amphitheater, using them as tools to benefit the City economically.
After receiving her Bachelor’s degree in Integrated Marketing Communications from Winthrop University, Keira spent her career planning and managing a wide variety of events from gallery receptions and galas to conventions and festivals. She has managed events for youth development, animal welfare, and the food industry, but her heart is in the arts.
When she’s not working, you can find Keira hanging out with friends, family, her husband, and her pup, vacationing on the water, trying new foods and craft beverages, or putting her creative skills to use.
Jeannie Harmon, Marketing & Design Coordinator
Jeannie handles marketing and graphic design for the City of Mauldin. Born and raised in Greenville, she moved away from the Upstate to attend Winthrop University, where she earned a BFA in Illustration. She enjoys finding ways to communicate ideas visually, whether through realistic drawings or abstract design.
Jeannie likes to spend time with her friends, family, and cats. She writes and draws her own webcomic and when she isn’t making comics, she’s reading them. She also loves supporting the performing arts in the Upstate, from local theatre to indie musicians and more.
Tim St. Clair, Theater Productions Coordinator
Janice Holcombe, Volunteer Coordinator
Janice is a long-time resident of Mauldin and has volunteered with the City for over 40 years, including planning the annual Memorial Day and Veteran’s Day ceremonies.
After retiring from the position of Outreach Pastor for First Baptist Church of Mauldin, Janice took on a part-time position with the City of Mauldin, assisting the Community Development Department with planning and organizing business events and securing volunteers for all of the Cultural Center’s events.
Janice is the current president of the Mauldin Rotary Club, of which she has been a member and served for many years. When she’s not working, she can be found directing weddings and special events. Her passion is doing her part in making the City of Mauldin a great place for her children and grandchildren to enjoy for years to come!
She and her husband, Tommy have been happily married for more than 50 years; they have two children and four grandchildren.
