The Mauldin Cultural Center stands within the City of Mauldin’s Community Development Department. The Center was created to establish, develop and promote a cultural system that celebrates the Mauldin community, leverages the arts for the economic benefit of the City and its citizens, and gives all citizens and visitors the ability to experience and participate in artistic and cultural activities in an effort to continually develop a more vibrant community.
We do our part to keep the arts alive by hosting youth theatre programs, live local and touring musicians, a local makers market, arts education classes, community festivals, and more!
But our best resource in keeping the arts alive are the individuals who take action in their own community. If you’re interested in helping us in our mission, please consider donating, volunteering, or interning with the Mauldin Cultural Center!
Volunteers make our world go ’round! We always need extra hands when it comes to selling tickets and wristbands, greeting and guiding guests, manning a kids zone, building theatre sets and costumes, and much more!
Whether it’s a market, a food festival, or a theatre performance, our volunteers always get to the chance to meet new people and enjoy the event itself!

We offer seasonal internships in marketing, theatre and events management to students who are interested in working with marketing or arts-based community programming.
To qualify for an internship position, students need to be enrolled in an accredited higher education institution and pursuing a related degree at the time of the internship.
