Join us for an exciting season of theatrical magic!

The Mauldin Theatre Company is thrilled to announce auditions for our 2025-2026 season! We are seeking talented and passionate performers to bring our diverse lineup of shows to life.

Audition Dates & Shows:

Saturday, March 15, 2025 (10:00 AM – 5:00 PM – 5-minute time slots)

  • PRINCE OF EGYPT – August 15 – 31, 2025

Please note: Auditions for NOISES OFF, MEMPHIS, BEETLEJUICE JR., 1776, and TWO GENTLEMEN OF VERONA will be held at a later date. Stay tuned for further announcements!

!!! IMPORTANT NOTE: TWO SEPARATE AUDITION DAYS !!!

March 15th and March 16th are DISTINCT audition days with SEPARATE production teams.

  • If you wish to audition for shows on BOTH days, you MUST register for BOTH audition dates.
  • This requirement applies to BOTH in-person and video submissions.
  • You will need to fill out the registration form and select a time slot for each day you want to audition.
  • Videos will need to be made with material for each day you are wanting to audition for.

March 15th Pre-Registration (PRINCE OF EGYPT, RENT, CHILDREN OF EDEN):

  • Please use the provided link to register for March 15th auditions.
  • All in person auditionees should arrive no later than 10 minutes prior to their scheduled audition block to ensure a smooth schedule. All actors must be available for all production dates. Actors are strongly encouraged to provide a completed audition form and headshot photo in advance. 
     
  • If you are submitting for an in person audition, the link the sign up for a March 15th time slot is located at the bottom of the audition form.
  • Video submissions for March 15th shows must be submitted by March 13, 2025, at 8:00 PM. Please email your submission to [email protected]. Subject Line – MTC Audition March 15, (Full Name). In Video – Please state your name and titles of your audition package.

March 16th Pre-Registration (SONGS FOR A NEW WORLD, BEYONCÉ/TAYLOR SWIFT MUSIC REVUE):

  • Please use the provided link to register for March 16th auditions.
  • All in person auditionees should arrive no later than 10 minutes prior to their scheduled audition block to ensure a smooth schedule. All actors must be available for all production dates. Actors are strongly encouraged to provide a completed audition form and headshot photo in advance.

Audition Preparation:

March 15th Auditions (PRINCE OF EGYPT, RENT, CHILDREN OF EDEN):

  • Prepare two contrasting musical theatre pieces, each 16-32 bars in length.
  • Bring clearly marked sheet music. An accompanist will be provided. No karaoke tracks or instrumental recordings will be permitted.

March 16th Auditions (SONGS FOR A NEW WORLD, BEYONCÉ/TAYLOR SWIFT MUSIC REVUE):

  • Prepare two contrasting pieces in the style of the show you are auditioning for, each 16-32 bars in length.
  • Bring clearly marked sheet music. An accompanist will be provided.
  • Alternatively, you may use backing tracks for the March 16th Auditions. A Bluetooth speaker will be available.

  • RENT:
    • March 22, 2025
    • Vocal Callback: 10:00 AM – 1:00 PM
    • Dance Call: 1:30 PM – 2:30 PM
    • Sides: 2:30 PM – 4:30 PM
  • PRINCE OF EGYPT:
    • March 23, 2025
    • Vocal Callback and Sides: 6:30 PM – 9:30 PM
  • CHILDREN OF EDEN:
    • March 29, 2025
    • Vocal Callback: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
  • SONGS FOR A NEW WORLD:
    • March 29, 2025
    • Vocal Callbacks: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM (time may be adjusted)
  • BEYONCÉ/TAYLOR SWIFT MUSIC REVUE:
