The City of Mauldin’s Office of Cultural Affairs received a One-Time Project Grant from the South Carolina Arts Commission for their 2014 Railroad Concert Series.  The $5,000 award will assist in funding artist fees, marketing and equipment needs for the program.  The 2014 Railroad Concert Series features GRAMMY Award-winning jazz vocalist, Gregory Porter on April 26, and a double-header concert on May 9 featuring Overmountain Men and the South Carolina Broadcasters.  All concerts are offered free to the public and will be held in the Mauldin Cultural Center’s Outdoor Amphitheater located at 101 East Butler Road in Mauldin.  To find out more information about each concert, click here.

The South Carolina Arts Commission is the only state agency dedicated to the development and advancement of the arts in South Carolina.  The South Carolina Arts Commission receives partial funding from the National Endowment for the Arts.
